Sally Holiday Haul

Oh boy do I loooovvvvveee clearance sales especially if its polish. The other day I popped into Sally yo pick up dome bleach and Manic Panic (yep taking the jump back to red soon) and I saw the beautiful 50% off holiday polish rack. Sadly, the Orly sets were gone a few of the China Glaze but out of the 3 CGsets left I picked one and Color Club Winter Affair mini set. Along with those I grabbed the remaining full size Color Club WA bottles. Winter Affair, Gift of Sparkle and Glitter Wonderland. $15 for all of this. What a steal! All of the Winter Affair polishes smell amazing!! Remember, only the Sally ones are scented, not ones sold anywhere else. I believe the sale is still going, so get there before its all gone!

red- Bright and Berry - berry scented
 gold- Winter Affair- vanilla scented
green- Ho- Ho Holly- holly scented
blue- Gift of Sparkle- not sure lol,it's very light and holiday:)
purple- Glitter Wonderland- to me, a sweet berry

Mani and haul catch up

Hello ladies! Yes, I've gone MIA (again). Sadly, I won't be posting as much during the holiday season. With the new job, working in retail during Christmas and driving close to 3 hours a day, not much time to post. Thank you to all off you who still stop by:).

Ok, I've had a couple of hauls and quite a few manis since my last post and luckily I remembered to save the pictures in my phone. I really need to go on. Buying stop, but it's do hard this time of year! Anyways here evidence of my crazy addiction.

Baby haul

Every day off I have, I seem to visit all the spots to score polish. Today must have been truck day at T.J. Maxx because they had TONS of stuff. At least 15 different shades of Essie for $3.99, about 6 shades of Orly Color blast, some China Glaze metallic crackle sets, a couple random full size color sets from Color Club for $9.99, 4 piece mini Color Club sets for $4.99, two piece full size CC sets, some OPU duo sets for $7.99, About 6 shades of Sation for $2.99, Color Club magnetic 2 piece sets (polish and clear coat) and 2, 3 and 4 piece sets of Cynthia Rowley polish starting at $5.99. This is the first time I've ever seen Cynthia Rowley polish. They have a lot of cute sets. My store had them at the normal beauty area and at the register. I only picked up 1 Sation color, Ego-Friendly. I really had to hold myself back not to go nuts, but I just choose one mainly because I've never seen a color like that and the budget. The guy checking me out was do excited about the shade, I couldn't stop laughing. "Oh wow! This is so cool!" etc, etc. Sally had in the Finger Paints and China Glaze holiday collection including the CG sets. Marshall's didn't have much, just a couple OPI shatter sets and some Orly color blast color. I needed to stop by CVS to pick up some things and just by chance ran across the Confetti holiday colors. There it was a $2 dupe for China Glaze Pure Joy. Confetti's name is All Night Long. They did have a pretty gold glitter but I'll save that one for later. Ladies, it's time to surf your city for deals! Best of luck!

CG It's Alive!

I'm so in love with color! This has to be one of my favorite Halloween colors. China Glaze released this last year in their Halloween line. It had some unique colors for once and super great names ! This always reminds me of that kinda cheesy evil baby movie from the 70's 'It's Alive'. It's hard to tell in the picture but it has small glitter and big chunks. It's not as green as it seems in the picture either. It's Alive! Is more of a army green. Really cool color and something that the Swamp Things girlfriend would wear :))

China Glaze - Foxy

Hello there! It's been awhile. Got a quick one today. Fall is approaching quickly so to celebrate I broke Foxy from the Retro Divas CG line. It's a beautiful shimmery red brown. I really love this entire collection. I think I'll swatch the whole thing this weekend. I had to take a picture after work so there's a bit of chip action .

China Glaze- Emerald Fitzgerald

Here's another beauty from the China Glaze Retro Diva collection. I was running late for work and ended up having to paint my nails on lunch break. So it's not the worlds best swatch. This is a beautiful deep green with light shimmer. It's one of my favorites from the collection.

China Glaze- 2nite

Like most of us, I just love CG's OMG! line. I painted my little nubs with 2nite. Such a pretty light blue. This line is soooo amazing and I'm so happy to here China Glaze will releasing a real sister line next spring. Great time to stock up on your favorite color or be able to finally pick up the colors tou've been drooling over:) Hope you all have a great Tuesday.

Irish pride nail art

Hello all. Yesterday we has a special sale event at work and out dress down theme was the Olympics. Whatever your country you were going for or your family heritage. I went with my mothers family. My grandfather was a full blood Irishman and my grandmother was at least half Irish. The only orange I had was neon, but it came out ok I think. I feel bad for poor Ireland. They only won 5 medals. Only one gold. Leprechauns will be
upset.

I used Sinful colors Snow Me White, CG Paper Chasing, CG Riveting, LA Colors neon orange and green nail art paint.

Latest polish haul

Quick post tonight. Super tired! I had a birthday the other week and my friends did not fail me lol. Sally Gift card and polish. Oh and Hello Kitty:)

The two polishes I received were from  Manglaze. New product to me that I just saw on the internet 2 weeks ago. I was excited when I opened the package! The two colors were Cabron and Matte is Murder (yay! The Smiths reference:)) Cabron is a awesome deep plum and Matte is Murder is nice soft to medium black. They dry amazing and, unlike other matte polish, have a beautiful holo shimmer to them. I added a top coat to both and it looks amazing, easy way to change up the style without all the work:) Cabron was a hard one to get the color one and I had a hard time getting the shimmer. But it is awesome. I'm really excited to pick up more colors from this brand.

I decided to pick up 2 presents for myself. Ended up grabbing Chanel Black Pearl and Fig from the Gap. This is my second Chanel color and I'm just not a fan. It always applies funky and the colors aren't really anything special. Also, a bit overpriced.  Might just use it as a giveaway prize along with my other color. Fig, applied smooth, had a pretty color pay off and was only $6. I do think it should be cheaper. More like $3.

Lastly, I was in Sally the other day grabbing some moose (which turns out to be horrible!)and grabbed up 2 of the CG metallic crackle polishes in Haute Metal and Latticed Lilac that were clearance for only $2.49 each and a CG magnetix. Only color they had was Cling On:( But hey, worth a try. Also, Sally has the magnet for free with the purchase of the polish, so really not a bad deal. The crackles are ok. Pretty color, great formula, but not really me. I liked the green of Cling On much better than expected and the designs came out pretty cool. Better than the same ol' striped design.

All in all, not a bad haul week. I'm sure I'll be going sally crazy with my gift card, so stay tuned:)
